- We took the list from the official website of iDEA (Association of Indonesian E-Commerce). We exclude every Ticketing, Mutual Funds, Rental, Insurance, Food Delivery, Coupon, Cashback & Classified Ads type E-Commerce
- E-commerce who qualified for this list meets the minimum requirement of 100,000 visitors per month or 100,000 social media followers.

A report by iPrice finds that local businesses are still dominating the list of the most visited e-commerce sites in Indonesia.
Menurut iPrice, Tokopedia adalah pemain C2C terbesar dengan jumlah pengunjung rata-rata per bulan mencapai 50,66 juta di kuartal II 2017.
Based on all iPrice's parameters, Lazada, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, and Mataharimall were always on the top list of 10 ecommerce in Indonesia.
Menurut laporan iPrice Group, perusahaan e-commerce di Indonesia mulai mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi kehadiran Amazon di Asia Tenggara.
